Newborns see best up close — about 8–12 inches (20–30 cm) is easy, roughly the distance to your face while feeding. A book held in your lap sits right there.

If it isn't right, we make it right:
- Print, binding or ink defect, or we printed the wrong thing: send a photo within 30 days of delivery and we print you a new copy free. You keep the first one — nothing to send back.
- Lost or damaged in transit: we reship free.
- A typo that was in your order and slipped past the change window: we'll reprint once at our cost price — email us and we'll sort it out.

Is this a real board book?
Yes — thick board pages with a matte finish, printed by a US board-book specialist using non-toxic inks. It's made to be chewed on. Our print partner has its board books regularly tested for all ages by Intertek, an independent certified lab, and they comply with ASTM and CPSIA safety requirements (16 CFR 1500.48/1500.49/1501, 16 CFR 1500.44, 16 CFR 1303, CPSIA Title 1 §101).
Can I see the whole book before I pay?
Yes — the last step shows every spread exactly as it will print. Nothing goes to the printer without your review.
Can I choose the patterns?
Yes. We start you with a sequence from simple to complex, and you can swap any page from the same library you can browse here for free.
What if I misspell the name?
Reply to your confirmation email within 24 hours and we'll fix it free before printing. Caught it later? We'll reprint once at cost — see Shipping & Returns.
Where do you ship?
Within the United States for now, with flat $7.95 USPS shipping. If you're outside the US, the free printable PDFs are the best way to get started today.
How long does it take?
Each book is printed to order — printing takes about 6 business days. With standard USPS shipping, most books arrive within 2–3 weeks of ordering. For a fixed date like a baby shower, order at least 4 weeks ahead to be safe.
Can I order more than one?
Yes — place a second order with the same or a different name. Grandparents often want a copy of their own.
How do I pay?
Securely by card through Stripe. You'll get a receipt by email, and we never see or store your card details.
What happens to the photo I upload?
It's used only to print your book. We don't use it anywhere else.
