1Who we are
LittleContrasts (littlecontrasts.com) is operated by Azulia Labs LLC, 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA ("we", "us"). Azulia Labs LLC is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Contact: [email protected].
2What we collect
You don't need to give us any personal information to browse the site or use the free high-contrast patterns. We only collect information in these cases:
- Server logs: when you visit the site, our hosting and delivery providers process technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date/time, page requested) to deliver and protect the site.
- Email: only if you actively sign up (and confirm), we use your email address to send you the content you asked for.
- Digital purchase: payments are handled by our payment and reseller provider (Merchant of Record). We do not store full payment details ourselves.
- Printed-book order (personalization data): when you order a personalized board book, we process what you enter — the baby's first name, your dedication text, and an optionally uploaded photo (typically a photo of a child, provided by you as the responsible adult) — only to produce your book. These order files are kept in our private order store (Cloudflare R2), which only we can access, and are shared with our print partner only as the printed pages. Your name, email, shipping address and phone number are collected by Stripe during checkout.
- Cookies & local storage: we store one necessary entry for your cookie choice (lc_cookie_consent) and a region cookie (lc_region) that tells the site whether it must ask before loading analytics; the book builder saves your draft only locally in your browser (lc-boardbook-draft). When analytics run (see section 5), Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga, _ga_*).
3How we use it
We use personal information only to run the site, deliver what you ordered, send the emails you asked for, answer your messages, keep the site secure, and meet legal obligations such as tax records. We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not show targeted ads.
4Service providers we use
- Hosting: OVH US LLC dba OVHcloud (11950 Democracy Drive, Suite 300, Reston, VA 20190, USA — DPA: https://us.ovhcloud.com/legal/data-processing-agreement/) runs the server in the USA that hosts this website and processes server log data on our behalf.
- Delivery & protection: Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA — DPA: https://www.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-customer-dpa/) routes all requests to this website through its network (content delivery, attack protection) and processes IP addresses and connection data on our behalf.
- Digital-product payments: Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC, a Stripe company, USA — Privacy: https://www.lemonsqueezy.com/privacy) processes purchases as Merchant of Record, including invoicing and taxes.
- Printed-book payments: Stripe (Stripe, Inc., 354 Oyster Point Blvd, South San Francisco, CA 94080, USA — Privacy: https://stripe.com/privacy) processes payment, contact and shipping data for the checkout.
- Order store: Cloudflare R2 (Cloudflare, Inc., see above) stores the personalization data of your book order (name, dedication, optional photo) in private storage on our behalf.
- Email delivery: Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA — DPA: https://resend.com/legal/dpa) sends transactional and sign-up emails on our behalf.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA — Privacy: https://policies.google.com/privacy) measures how the site is used on our behalf, see section 5.
5Web analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, where visitors come from (for example Pinterest or a search engine) and which features get used. Google Analytics uses cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and a pseudonymous device ID, and uses your IP address only to estimate a rough location; Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization, so this data is not used for advertising or to follow you across other websites.
Where the law requires consent first (the European Union and EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Brazil and Quebec, or when we can't tell where you are), Google Analytics loads only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. Everywhere else, including the rest of the United States and Latin America, it runs by default and you can turn it off at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. We treat a browser's Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out, and you can also use Google's opt-out browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
6Children's privacy
This site is for parents and other adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A baby's name or photo in a book order is provided by the ordering adult and used only to print that book. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
7Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (e.g. tax records). Personalization data of a book order (name, dedication, photo) is deleted no later than 90 days after delivery — or sooner on request; one email is enough. Files from abandoned orders are cleaned up promptly.
8Where your data is processed
We and most of our providers are based in the United States, so your information is processed in the USA. If you are in Latin America, your information is transferred to the United States to provide the site and your order, under data-processing terms with our providers.
9Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live — for example California or another US state with a privacy law, Brazil (LGPD), Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Chile or Peru — you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it
- correct inaccurate information
- have your information deleted
- withdraw consent or opt out (e.g. for emails or analytics) at any time
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we don't sell or share it
- complain to your local data-protection authority (e.g. the ANPD in Brazil or the AAIP in Argentina)
We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live. Email [email protected] (this is also our privacy contact for LGPD requests). We may ask you to confirm your identity, we answer within the time the law requires, and we will never treat you differently for using your rights.
10Do Not Track
We don't track you across other websites, so we don't respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals. We do honor Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends it, analytics stay off.
11Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, such as encrypted connections and private, access-restricted storage for order files. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
12Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll let customers and subscribers know by email.
